Field Representatives from Senator Tom Cotton and Senator John Boozman Visit Compassions Foundation Inc. Shelter

On June 17, 2025, Compassions Foundation Inc. had the honor of hosting field representatives David Rider (representing Senator Tom Cotton) and Chase Emerson (representing Senator John Boozman) for a tour of our shelter. During their visit, the representatives had the opportunity to ask questions about our shelter operations, the services we provide to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and the critical funding that supports our work.

The discussion focused heavily on the importance of programs like the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding, which is vital to maintaining the level of support we offer to the community. As we continue to provide life-changing services, the visit underscored the need for sustained funding to ensure that Compassions Foundation can continue to serve those in need.

We are grateful for the attention and support of our elected officials, and we look forward to continued collaboration to strengthen our community's response to domestic violence and sexual assault.
