Become a Volunteer
At Compassion’s Foundation, Inc., volunteers are the heart of our mission. Your time, skills, and compassion can make a lasting impact in the lives of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Whether you assist in our shelter, help with community events, or provide specialized skills, your contribution helps us create a safer, more supportive community. Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who need it most.

Crisis Hotline
Volunteers can receive comprehensive training to effectively operate our 24/7 crisis hotline, ensuring they are well-prepared to assist individuals in critical situations.

Community Awareness
Volunteers can assist with community awareness by organizing educational workshops, distributing informational materials, engaging in local events, and collaborating with community leaders to promote important advocacy issues.

Transportation
Volunteers can assist with client transportation. Volunteers must have a valid driver's license, current car insurance, and no traffic violations in the past 5 years. This can include taking clients to work, to the grocery store, and to appointments.

Children and Youth
Volunteers can also support the shelter by providing childcare services. Many of our clients arrive without financial resources or employment. Once they secure a job, they often require assistance with childcare arrangements.

Shelter Work
Volunteers can also contribute to the operations of the shelter by engaging in various tasks. This may include organizing storage units, performing cleaning duties within the shelter, or conducting yard maintenance.

Fundraising
Volunteers can join our efforts in fundraising for the shelter. Whether you would like to assist with our ongoing fundraising initiatives or are interested in organizing your own unique events, your support can make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.

Donations
Volunteers may also choose to participate in assisting with the organization and execution of local donation pick-ups for the shelter, helping to gather essential supplies and materials from community members.

Support Groups
Volunteers can significantly enhance their engagement by taking the initiative to develop creative and meaningful activities tailored for our weekly support groups.
