MAGNOLIA, Ark. — Compassion’s Foundation, Inc., the region’s domestic violence and sexual assault shelter, has announced three community fundraisers to close out the year, each offering a unique way for residents to have fun while supporting the nonprofit’s mission.

Cruisin’ Against Bruisin’ – September 20, 2025
The action begins with the annual Cruisin’ Against Bruisin’ Car Show, set for Saturday, September 20, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Magnolia. Car lovers can browse classic and custom vehicles, enjoy vendor booths, and take part in raffles and door prizes. Registration runs from 8 to 10 a.m., with free public admission from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds benefit Compassion’s Foundation’s shelter services and outreach programs.

Clays for a Cause – October 18, 2025
Next, outdoor enthusiasts can mark their calendars for Saturday, October 18, when the organization teams up with Southern Arkansas University to host the first annual Clays for a Cause Trap Shoot Fundraiser. Held at the SAU Trap Shooting Range, the event welcomes participants of all skill levels for a day of friendly competition, with all proceeds going toward shelter operations.

New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball – December 31, 2025
The year concludes with a night of elegance at the New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball on Wednesday, December 31, at The Carriage House at Big Oak Hill Ranch. Guests will ring in 2026 with music, dancing, and a midnight celebration, all while helping raise funds for the shelter’s programs in the year ahead.
Something for Everyone
Organizers say the variety of events is intentional — appealing to different interests and age groups. “From classic cars to sporting competitions to an evening of dancing, there’s something for men, women, and families alike,” a spokesperson said. “Each event offers a fun way to get involved while making a positive impact in the community.”
Registration is now open for all three events. For details, visit Compassion’s Foundation’s website or contact the organization directly.
