Our Services

24/7 Crisis Hotline

Our hotline is completely free to use, and is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. All crisis calls are met with a rapid response, thorough assessment, and safety planning by trained individuals.

Safety and Escape Planning

A safety plan is a personalized and practical plan that helps identify things a victim can do to better protect themselves and their children and to help reduce the risk of being hurt when escaping their abuser. A victim cannot control his or her partner’s abusive behavior, but they can take steps to protect themselves (and their children) from harm.

Emergency Shelter

Our shelter offers survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault a safe place to stay when they are trying to get away from their abusers. The location of the shelter is kept strictly confidential.

Courtroom Accompaniment

If you wish, an advocate will accompany you to any of your domestic violence and/or sexual assault related court appointments. We will help you understand what to expect and what information to bring with you. We are not attorneys, however, we often attend these hearings and can give you an idea of how it may go.

Crisis Intervention

A successful crisis intervention consists of obtaining background information on the client, establishing a positive relationship, discussing the events that occurred, and providing on-going emotional support.

Support Group Meetings

We offer weekly support group meetings which are available to all clients. Examples of meeting topics: defining domestic violence, defining sexual assault, creating personal safety plans, learning to live a safe and healthy lifestyle, power and control dynamics, and how domestic violence affects children.
