Who We Are
Compassion’s Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to providing shelter, support, and resources for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Our mission is to create a safe, nurturing space where survivors can heal, rebuild, and thrive—because everyone deserves a life free from violence and abuse.

What is Domestic Violence?
Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior used to gain or maintain control over an intimate partner. It can be physical, emotional, sexual, or financial.
Warning signs may include:
Physical harm or threats of harm
Isolation from friends or family
Control over money, work, or activities
Verbal insults, humiliation, or intimidation
What is Sexual Assault?
Sexual assault is any non-consensual sexual contact or activity. It can happen to anyone, regardless of gender, age, or background.
It may involve:
Rape or attempted rape
Unwanted sexual touching
Coercion or manipulation into sexual acts
Sexual activity with someone unable to consent
What is Human Trafficking?
Human trafficking is the exploitation of a person through force, fraud, or coercion for labor or commercial sex. It is a form of modern slavery.
Possible indicators include:
Inability to leave a job or situation
Signs of abuse or fearfulness
No control over identification documents
Being paid little or nothing for work
